Lew White, the author of "Fossilized Customs" and other books, owns a "Head Shop" in Louisville, KY called, "Electric Ladyland?" Seems so...

Recent public revelations about Lew White's 50% ownership and management of a "head shop" that carries, among other things, "smoking paraphernalia (bongs, pipes, pipe glassware, stash boxes, etc...)," drug-culture music, and posters and art, some depicting "wizards and fairies," has come to light at the following web site:

With both sides linked and this info now public, right or wrong, I will share some of my comments on the matter:

1. From others testimony about "Electric Ladyland" and my personal experience with "Head Shops" decades ago, these shops cater to drug users by providing drug smoking devices under the legal LOOPHOLE that they are for "tobacco use only." But everyone who goes there KNOWS what they are REALLY used for. It is a JOKE among drug users! Most shops also carry "Pyrex-type" glass pipes and devices that are used for COCAINE (rock/crack) and recently, for CRYSTAL METH. Crystal Meth has killed and ruined uncountable lives and destroyed families all across our country. It is PURE EVIL... There is no way, IN MY OPINION, using my understanding of Torah (Letter & Spirit), that ANYONE who calls upon YaHuWaH and looks to Yahushua for salvation could in any way JUSTIFY or DEFEND active participation and ownership of a business that HELPS theses "Meth Heads" get the tools needed to smoke their drugs, destroy their lives, and the lives of others. Lew's "shotgun sold in Walmart" analogy is weak and laughable...
2. Lew claims he is trapped in contractual obligations and is hoping his business partner will "see the Light" and change the business model. As it stands, Lew partially owns a business that is open for business on Shabbat, he profits from it being open on Shabbat, and he has employees paid to work on Shabbat. By "EL" corporate documents, written in Lew's own handwriting, he testifies that he is the one who "writes all the checks," therefore paying someone to work on Shabbat. Lew claims to have tried to sell the business but has failed. Lew claims he is a "HUNTER" seeking out the lost, using this Head Shop as bait, until he is set free from that business; that he seeks the LOST where the LOST are found... Lew also claims "Electric Ladyland" is OWNED by Yahushua, the Messiah! I say, Bull Excrement! Messiah would NEVER, and Lew could walk away at any time just by giving his partner his 50% of the business. Easy! Unless $$$ is the concern... So Lew CHOOSES to remain in that business that caters to the drug culture...
3. Lew downplays his listing in tax and corporate documents as "Owner" and "Director." But changing the names to HIS PARTNER's name is EASY and can be done at any time. Lew has not separated HIS NAME from the business in DECADES and he still does not. This alone speaks volumes to me...
4. Lew White defends his ownership and actions on his web site, so it is clear he believes he stands upright before YHWH in this matter. That is between YaHuWaH and him. But I think his argument is lame, deceived and motivated by money (making a living), therefore I and this ministry are separating from him PERSONALLY and separating from all of his business ventures.
